Custom Projects

My work includes thoughtful custom projects where material, function and space can be considered properly — from furniture and fitted pieces for homes to distinctive displays, storage and interior elements for shops, offices and other businesses.

Each project is developed around a particular space, person or purpose, whether for a home, business or creative environment.

I’m best suited to carefully considered pieces and smaller-scale projects rather than large full-site installations. That said, I’m always open to discussing wider ideas where design, making and project planning can be approached collaboratively.

How the process works

The process begins with a conversation.

From there, we can look at your idea, the space, rough dimensions, how the piece needs to work, material direction, budget and timeframe.

Once the project feels like the right fit, I can develop a design direction, confirm materials, provide a quote and agree a realistic timeline before making begins.

Throughout the project, I’ll keep you updated as the work develops, with clear communication around progress, decisions and any details that need confirming along the way.

Custom work takes time to get right. I prefer to take on fewer projects and give each one the attention it deserves, from the first conversation through to material choice, construction and finish.

Pricing

Every project is quoted individually. Cost will depend on the size, materials, complexity, design time and any delivery or fitting requirements.

If you already have a budget in mind, you’re welcome to include it in your enquiry. This helps establish what is realistically possible from the start and allows the design to develop in the right direction.
